“When you are courting a nice girl, an hour seems like a second. When you sit on a red-hot cinder, a second seems like an hour. That’s relativity.” ~Albert Einstein

One of the NLP™ tools teaches the student how to experience time either in fast time or slow time and that can be very useful. In the case of timed exams, for example, you can learn to distort time so that your mind has all the time it needs to complete the exam. One of my clients used this for taking the California Bar Exam successfully. Where might time distortion be useful to you? Cross continent airplane trip  where a 13 hour flight actually seems like little more than a couple of hours? Elite athletes use this quite often. Some naturally do it and others have to learn how to do it and you can too.
